Salem Kids
As we reflect on the past year in our Children’s Ministry, we are filled with gratitude for all that God has done in the lives of our kids, volunteers, and families. It’s been a year of growth, learning, and joyful experiences. From weekly Bible lessons to special events, here are some of the highlights from this year:. Throughout the year, our children have been learning foundational truths from the Bible.
Each month, we explored a different theme, from God’s love and forgiveness to being brave when we feel weak. We’ve seen so many of our children grow in their understanding of God’s Word, and many have made personal decisions to follow Christ and get baptized. Our ministry was filled with fun, creativity, and community. From lively Sunday school classes to the Easter Egg hunt and the exciting week of VBS, the kids have had a blast while deepening their faith. The annual Fall Festival was a highlight, with games, treats, and fellowship that brought families together. This year, our children took part in several service projects, including assembling packages for local families in need, making cards for community members, and packing shoeboxes. They learned that serving others is a key part of living out their faith.
Our Christmas performance was also a memorable event, with children singing about Jesus’ birth. As we look to the new year, we are excited about the opportunities ahead. We are planning new activities, continuing to build relationships, and providing even more opportunities for our children to grow in faith, friendship, and service. NURSERY (Infant-2 Yr Olds) – 9:45 AM-10:45 AM
SUNDAY SCHOOL (Age 3– 5th Grade) 10:00 -10:45 AM
Through the use of stories, crafts, and games, each week our children learn about people who were called by God to help build His kingdom.
WORSHIP
Nursery is available during Sunday morning service 11:00 am for infant through 4 years old.
CHILDREN’S WORSHIP
(11:00 AM, 5 YR OLDS - 5TH GRADE)
Join us for Children’s worship!! It is held during the 11am worship service except during special programs.
