FOOD PANTRY

Give it away?
Yes, we give food away. A bag full?
No, the amount of food we give away depends on the need of the family or individual. We are affiliated with Second Harvest Food Bank. Our volunteers are quick to assist anyone that is hungry.

Our Pantry is open on Thursday's from 9:00-11:00 A.M.

SMASH Program

The Salem Methodist After School
Hours (SMASH ) Program has been providing quality child care to school age
children since 1994.

This program includes after-school pick up from Eastover-Central, Armstrong, and D-7 Elementary Schools.

PRE-SCHOOL

Organized in 1996, Salem Preschool and Child Care is a church related non-profit Christian organization operated as a ministry of Salem Methodist Church. Salem Preschool and Childcare is a GS-110 Licensed Preschool.

The purpose of this center is to provide a loving, Christian atmosphere where each child’s spiritual, intellectual, social, emotional and physical growth is nurtured and enriched.

YOUTH MINISTRY

Salem Youthies isn’t just a group—it’s a family. Together, we grow in faith, build lasting friendships, and support one another through Christ. As we look ahead to 2025, we’re excited to continue inspiring, encouraging, and serving side by side.

Salem Kids

Through the use of story, crafts, and games, each week our children learn about people who were called by God to help build His kingdom.

MUSIC MINISTRY

Music is important to our ministry at Salem. From children to seniors, we have an opportunity for service. The Chancel Choir serves at our 11am worship service. We have children's choirs for all ages. We often include instrumentalist to enhance the musical experience. Come and be a part of one of our groups and use your voice or instrumental talent to bring a joyful noise before God.

SALEM METHODIST MEN

The Salem Methodist Men Club meets the third Sunday of each month at 8:00 A.M. The men's club shares prayer, fellowship, and we enjoy a delicious breakfast. They take on projects throughout the year to improve the church grounds and help the elderly and disabled church members and friends with yard work and home repair.
