Salem Methodist Church Preschool and Child Care (SMCPCC)
does not discriminate in its admissions or operating policies on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin. Our program is designed to meet the developmental needs of young children, ages six weeks to five years old. Salem Church Preschool and Child Care is a GS-110 Licensed Preschool.
Within the school’s daily schedule, each child has opportunities to create, explore the environment, learn problem-solving and personal interaction skills and learn concepts through first-hand experiences. Children develop a positive self-concept through a balance of self/teacher-directed activities. Solitary, parallel, and cooperative play, as well as group activities, are offered throughout each day. Classes participate in the library Read-to-Me program. The center also uses the ABEKA Curriculum for learning with the children in the center.
ABOUT
The center includes; 5 classrooms, and 2 playgrounds. The church’s “Family Life Enrichment Center” is shared by all church programs.
The center has top sanitation and fire ratings. A fire alarm system is in place. A security system is installed. All employees are properly certified and have completed CPR and other recommended training.
